📜 ESRP General Server Rules

Welcome to ESRP! These rules ensure everyone has a fun, fair, and immersive roleplay experience. Breaking them may result in warnings, kicks, or bans depending on severity.

Respect Everyone

  • Treat all players and staff with respect.
  • Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Harassment, bullying, or targeting other players will not be tolerated.

No Random Deathmatch (RDM)

  • Do not kill or attack another player without a valid roleplay reason.
  • Every violent action must have meaningful roleplay leading up to it.

No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)

  • Vehicles must not be used as weapons.
  • Running players over intentionally without a valid RP reason is prohibited.

Value Your Life (NVL)

  • Your character should value their life as they would in real life.
  • If outnumbered or at a clear disadvantage, comply unless you have a realistic opportunity to escape.

Fail RP

  • Keep your roleplay realistic at all times.
  • Avoid unrealistic actions that would never happen in real life.

Metagaming

  • Do not use information gained outside roleplay to benefit your character.
  • Discord, Twitch chats, streams, or other external information cannot be used in character.

Powergaming

  • Do not force actions or outcomes on another player.
  • Give others a fair opportunity to react during roleplay.

Combat Logging

  • Logging out to avoid roleplay, death, police, or consequences is strictly forbidden.

New Life Rule (NLR)

  • After being revived or respawning, do not return to the same situation immediately.
  • Your character should not remember the events that directly led to their death.

Exploiting & Cheating

  • Any use of cheats, exploits, scripts, glitches, macros, or third-party software is strictly prohibited.
  • Report bugs instead of abusing them.

Safe Zones

  • No violence or criminal activity in designated safe zones unless specifically allowed by server events.

Character Names

  • Characters must have realistic names.
  • Troll or offensive names are not permitted.

Roleplay First

  • Winning should never be more important than creating enjoyable roleplay.
  • Take losses as part of your character’s story.

Voice Chat

  • Use clear and appropriate language.
  • Excessive mic spamming, ear rape, soundboards, or voice changers that disrupt roleplay are prohibited.

Staff Respect

  • Respect all staff decisions during active situations.
  • If you disagree with a decision, create a support ticket instead of arguing in-game.

Reporting Issues

  • Report rule breaks or bugs through the proper support channels.
  • Do not take matters into your own hands.

Common Sense

  • If something gives you an unfair advantage or ruins another player’s experience, don’t do it.
  • Use common sense and remember everyone is here to enjoy serious roleplay.
